My chickens won't eat scraps!

That is so funny!

I think my chickens are not particularly bright, but they loooooove table scraps. It never occurred to me to do anything special with them- we just dump them out there.

They've eaten everything we've given them. Except asparagus. For some reason, they don't like the base of asparagus (you know, the part you cut off because it's too tough?).

I've given my 7 week old chicks cucumbers and at first they seem to ignore them and act afraid. But when I go back later they are always gone. They attack worms though. We save a few worms here and there as we are digging and come across them and we get a good laugh watching them fight over them.
