My chickens won't eat their pellets so I tried 6 grain scratch. They liked for maybe 5 minutes. Now I got the crumbles and still nothing. They act like their starving. I don't feel full crops.
I gave big container oatmeal and they loved it. They still like veggies. But I can't give it too them all day or enough to keep fed well. I'm not sure what else to try besides pellets and scratch. Any help appreciated. I have 6 young laying hens. They did just get an improved coop. They seem to like it. 12x12 covered fence. Not free range. Although they'll go in chicken tractor from time to time.

they may just be bored do you have a rooster? i give my chickens scrambled eggs because of moulting and iu mix their food with it and they lve it but i havent had this problem with my chickes yet and are they layig yet?

You could try fermenting their feed or making a simple wet mash, where you add water to the feed & soak for 5-10 minutes, then serve. It can take some trial & error with the amount of water, to get the consistency they like.
I'll try that in morning. Thank you

They won’t starve as others said. Try feeding veggies like lettuce, and the like. That usually gets their attention.

my quails won't eat they are fed fine quality grain feed, I just noticed it yesterday but I believe it's been going longer. what should I do. I feed them by putting their food on the ground in that bat. I'm just a bit worried.
