I am new to this website and I am enjoying so much. I have 3 Isa Browns,1 New Hampshire and 1 Australorpe. I am enjoying them a lot. They are all laying eggs and I have had them for about a year. I still do not know a lot about chickens but I certainly love them. I am having some trouble and it may sound silly but I really need your help. My girls poo on me a lot and it is ruining my clothes. I try to wash it out but it still stains. What should I do?

Is it when they're on your lap? Sometimes I lay a towel on my lap when I'm holding them, but they rarely poop on my lap. Sometimes they poop right after I set them down, and I've always wondered whether they're capable of "holding" it while I'm holding them. Maybe just coincidence, though. I'm looking forward to reading other people's ideas!
