My chicks are 6 weeks!

6 weeks went pretty quickly! All seem to be doing well. They are supposed to be pullets. I suspect there may be a roo. I'll post pictures for opinions. They are Australorps. Incidentally, i think they are all broken and don't know how to chicken! šŸ˜‚ They sleep on the floor even though they love their roost! Silly girls!

You can try putting them on the roost at night. My girls figured out roosting on their own, but when I moved them to their outside coop it took me four days of chasing them nightly for them to learn bedtime means go to the coop!

Can't wait for that! Chasing chickens! šŸ˜‚ They know how to roost, they do it all the time. Just not at night! Hopefully they will pick it up better once in the coop!
 
All girls! I've had an Australorp roo in a previous flock. He had a red comb and waddles coming in by 6 weeks. Also, my new flock are also six weeks and don't roost at night.

Yay! I think my girls are still a little confused with day/night since they aren't out in the coop yet.
