That is a very good thing. I've had my DH take looks for me, also. I just hate the thought of them dying. Since you already have the meds, I wouldn't worry...just give them the meds and relax You can even mix them up a yogurt dish of crumbles, water and yogurt..they will love it and it will help replenish their good bacteria and soothe their little intestines

UPDATE: They have been on meds for 24 hours now. I woke up this morning, checked on them - lively buggers. They are drinking A LOT of the medicated water. Woohoo! One bloody stool this morning opposed to the six I have been finding. Less blood, I would say, too.

Sigh. Fingers still crossed.

Sure, you didn't have to keep them inside. You just needed to take their medicated water with them wherever they went
