My chicks are growing like WEEDS! (oh & a question ;p)

jeez, I went to the lake with a friend, and I came back 24 hours later and they are noticeably larger!
But anyways, do chicks show off or spazz of something?
I have this chick that if I quietly watch from afar, is totally normal.
But when he(Barbecue) sees my hand, he'll jump on it constantly(he likes to be held or something, he doesn't just not mind me, he follows me and insists on being on my hand

)& sometimes he'll expand his wings and hold it (not pooing or stretching, just have them expanded. Then he'll try and fly across the brooder, on top of the feed container, and against the sides of the brooder! What is this behavior?

That as I have been told is completely normal some are more friendly than others I have 2 golden Comets that do the same to my wife.

My Buff Orpingtons were like that as babies...still that way today. When I enter the coop they search for a way for me to hold them...
