My chicks are playing with a chipmunk... WITH PICTURES!

they've been eyeing the chipmunk all week, but never got quite this close LOL! I can't believe that they were actually eating an acorn together, nose to nose! that was insane. man, I wish I had a picture of that!

Haha! We had one in our yard once... trapped under the heat pump thanks to our dog who is always looking for something to crush and shred.

How on earth did a chicken and a chipmunk share an ACORN?!

I'm a fan of chipmunks, even though they are only out to pick up any scattered feed.

They keep my birds entertained

They try to get into the pens through the out yards and my chickens just love to watch them and chase them.

So far, we have not lost a chipmunk nor have my birds ever been harmed.

A good time had by all!!!

I do NOT like chipmunks! They dig in all my flower pots and eat all my strawberries. Oh yes, they're cute to look at - I'll admit that! I have a pot of flowers on my front stoop and, yesterday, I had to sweep away the potting soil 3 times from those little buggars digging in it!
