My 8 chicks are 8 days old and I am really seeing their personalities. The breeds personalities are so different already!

It's really neat to see the differences. My 3 year old son loves them. We took them out individually today and set them on the couch with him. A couple of them walked a little bit and explored, but the rest just sat in one place. The EE's huddled down right away and didn't move around at all. They seem to be so mellow and don't mind being held. One of the EE's even fell right asleep perched on my husband's leg!

Here are some pics!

Chicks definitely do have personalities pretty quickly, and it's so fun watching them grow up. Have fun with your babies!

Your chicks are so cute. I'm new to raising chicks so I'm so happy to hear I can let them out and play with the family. Is there a time limit on how long they can stay away from the heat and or how warm the house has to be. Thanks alot for sharing the pics.

Iceegg, I kept each of them out no longer than 5 minutes. I am trying to handle each one of them at least once a day to get them used to us. We have our house at 68 or so, but it was pretty cold today. They were on my son's lap, so had the body heat and didn't get cold.
