My chicks had chicks!

The first batch of chicks I hatched laid a few eggs before I put them out in the aviary so I incubated them and six out of the eight hatched!

Congratulations! Our first batch should hatch next week. Those are too cute.

You'll have to see if your hen will hatch chicks herself out in the aviary. It's very sweet watching the parents care for them. They talk non stop unless it's nap time.

I hope they will, but its never happened before with the others we've had. I'm hoping the two I'm keeping at home might hatch their own though.
