My Christmas Ornament Eggs :)

Most people use Modge Podge. I thought about trying that shiny spray acrylic, but was advised against it. I still may experiment with it though...
Anyone with eggs should try this - really, artistic talent is not needed, just attention to detail.

I use glossy Modge Podge spread very thinly with a paintbrush. You want to be careful about the brush marks but as long as you do a thin coat, they'll be kept to a minimum. I've never used a spray and would think it would drip and take forever to dry. You'll be amazed at how quickly the MP dries!

teach they are not at all wrinkly. I was just hoping printed tissue paper would work. That I have.
It might be fun to do one a week, kinda like missprissy dared us, and I will have a tree's worth by next year.
I was thinking some of that cute Christmas tissue paper would decoupage well. I will give it a try.

Thank you for the pictures all!

I will try to post some pictures of some of my eggs in a day or two-I enjoy looking at everyone's eggs!

I sold 26 eggs at my church's Mission Mart last Sunday-so I'm working on some for my own tree now-and for gifts. Some of the ones I donated to sell at the Mission Mart had cross stickers on them and I really had a hard time working with the stickers-getting them on straight and getting them applied without a lot of crinkles. ADozenGirlz-your eggs that have stickers look great!

I have been using triple thick glaze to coat mine. I wonder if it's about the same thing as modge podge? Has anyone used both?

Thanks, farmerinKC. The stickers I use are from the scrapbooking section of Michael's Crafts. I've never used anything but Modge Podge; it's super easy to work with and you only need one, thin coat that dries super quickly. Amazing product!

Looking forward to your photos!
