My closest neighbor is mad at me over a roo,,,, not what you think!

Awww~ I have a neighbor like this too. It's an elderly man and his wife and he has told me on multiple occasions how much he likes to hear my rooster crow. He says that it is a beautiful, nostalgic sound.

I just hope the other neighbors close by aren't irritated about him.

I'd love to have neighbors like that. I have an older lady who lives next to us and she is always shooting Sophie dirty looks when she's outside playing. I mean honestly she's two I'm sorry she's playing and being loud but she's 2.

We live in the city and roosters are prohibited.

my neighbors were upset when we re homed our last roo as well.
They liked hearing the crowing.
If he hadnt gone rogue on me I would have kept him. He was gorgeous

The trade is done, Snowball is now living a few acres behind me and I can hear him talking. I sure hope he isn't trying to convince any of the ladies to trapse through the desert to visit! I didn't even think about that!!!

Yay for Snowball! I love happy endings.

My neighbors have come looking for my chickens lately. I have been keeping them in the coop while I finish the run. The neighbors are missing them. Even neighbors I have never met are coming over. I think I had a petting zoo and didn't realize it.

apparently the neighborhood had a rooster before I moved in. everybody took care of him. then he disappeared, and they all missed him. I don't think we can have roos here, but I guess if they don't belong to anybody in particular, then it's okay.
