My daughter (11) and son (13) have had the best time hatching these eggs. I am hoping to get some eggs for them to try again. I know the next time will be a bit more of a let down, how often will you get 9 of 10 babies to hatch in such a makeshift bator. The up side to it all is they now run to check for eggs and to feed the chickens outside, before it was like pulling teeth for help. I think they now feel like they have a connection to the big ones too. The babies are in a box in my daughters room with a heat lamp, next week they will be moved into my sons room. This has been so much fun. Now I am in search of some eggs to hatch, we are eating ours eggs now or my hubby would revolt and stop buying the feed, lol.
