Wow, Cobra! What an incredible design! (Are you an architect or engineer in your other life?) You could market this coop!

I love all the access devices. I may steal your idea for the top-opening run, if you don't mind. My run has to be short (40") to keep it concealed behind a wood fence. I'm in the process of building it now, so it would be easy to simple add hinges to the "lid". What do you use to fasten yours down?

Love the coop...! We are in the process of converting my old shed into the coop. Am so excited. Going to make it like a small barn as it is about 8' x 6' Lots of room.

I to will paint it red with white trim. I like your detachable nesting box. My Dad will have to help me make one like that.

Great coop. I like how you made the nest boxes to swing out for easy cleaning. You could always prop a piece of wood under it for support if you feel it's to heavy when openned. Where did you find the window? I really like that. Very good looking and I have to say, great paint job. Kudos!
