I like the nest boxes with the bump-out. Space saver and so convenient. Looks like top roost pole too close to wall? Maybe not, could be just pic. They can be as high as 24" for the bottom one. Mine all do well with two tiers, at 24" and 48" ht. God to start low if yours are really young. Am afraid to add on at 6 ft ht in my coop for fear they will then access rafters and be pooping everywhere! Not to mention that then I would have to partition off my ceiling fan to keep them out of it when it is running. We might have to have an unscheduled chicken stew that night if one of the girls strayed into the fan!
