Your coop is amazing and the picture of you and your grandchildren is so sweet! What a great grandfather you are to pass these lessons and experiences on to your grandchildren... you remind me a lot of my Mid-Western Swedish father. He actually helped me build my tiny little coop in my backyard [I live in an urban environment], and often helps my three kids build little projects.

That coop is twice the size of my college dorm room, and the furnishings are much better!

Truly, that is the best chicken coop I've ever seen posted here, not because it's beautiful and functional and BIG, but because of how you went about building it. I think most of us who take the time to post our thoughts in this forum would agree; just once in our lifetimes, we would like to create something, as you have.
