Wow I was skeptical that those eggloo's could keep a small group of chickens warm enough in the winter. Boy that company should be paying you for such a great endorsement of their product.
 
I have actually shoveled the snow up to and all around the bottom of my coop. It makes for great insulation.
 
aww you guys got hit by the storm ? I'm in MA too and our coop looked like a little ski shack! Your chickies look so cozy

We have that much on the ground here in MN, but it's come in tiny little amts and NOT MELTED B/C IT'S BEEN LIKE -5 although today it got up to 37*!!!!
