So, we finished it last summer, and have been reconfiguring roost space etc. Should have researched a bit more about the inside of the coop, but its working.
Also spent lots of time and money trying to figure out the best ground covering for the run to keep mud issues to a minimum. Fin ally settled on sand, with pumice and gravel mixed in, which is working great.
Most of it is covered with a canvas tarp right now to keep it dry-er (we live in Oregon. It rains ALL THE TIME). May try something different for next winter, but its working good enough for now... sunny skies ahead!
