My coop start to "finish"

Yeah you're right lol, I had seen some with the round holes, I might do like the pic on the long sides toward the top. Just paranoid about it being too much when it's cold lol.

I hear you completely with worrying about the cold and wet weather. BUT, even though we had the correct ratio of ventilation to sq footage I added more, a lot more. My girls have chosen to sleep out in the open (hardware cloth wrapped) run and I still add a fan for hot nights. I cover with insulation and diy wood framed vinyl panels in the winter.

I still fret over the ventilation inside the coop. I continue to add more each summer, along with fans.
