Actually those nest boxes might work better on the other side, then you don't have to worry about runoff its very similar to these amish coops http://www.horizonstructures.com/coop.asp

***Update***
With the sun finally out today, I was able to get a little more work done on the coop. The back door is in, needs some trim to finish it off. The chicken door set up in the front is done and the first coat of white paint went on a few items. Take a looksie!

This pic includes my chicken door set up. The rope will be outside for anybody to raise or lower the chicken door without entering the run. Needs a 2nd coat of white on the trim but certainly getting there!

More updates to come.... Any suggestions?

I kind of just figured it out as I went but I would be more than happy to put together some measurements and such.

That's a nice looking coop and very similar to the one I'm thinking about building for my girls. Yours is much prettier though.

this design seems to be my favorite of all .. i like the play area under the coop, more dirt for the chics .. the roof, i just love the hard angle, must be for rain run off? rear vents, thats just good stuff - we all need that .. i just wish the chickens could tell me - hey lady i want a flat screen and i want my own bathroom, i guess you just build it and make changes as needed .. your coop definitely wins with me, it will be perfect for your chickens .. thanks for posting pics and sharing you knowledge!
