My coop

Just thought I'd share my chicken coop. This was on the property already and never really did anything with it as I have a large barn. Its 10x20 cememt floor and I think it was used for several dog kennels inside?? I dont really use the fenced in area other than to confine the chickens when I mow or just need to confine them.

A chicken coop is "never" really clean!!!

I have the frost free fawcett working now and its sooooo nice to have power and water to the coop

Here is the inside, looks a bit empty? there are 14 hens and one BO Roo.

These are some of the dog houses they built inside the building. I use them for brooders or a place to confine a chicken. I have 23 6 week olds in there and they are growing like weeds.

Love the grow out cage... Totally going to put that in my coop when its finished. I have 5 little ones that will be using it. Hopefully 7 if the last 2 hatch

Thanks you all, I do like my coop and feel blessed to have had it on my property. I have the brooder light also wired to the cage so it cant get knocked down. I am hoping that when I get ready to intergrate the flock it will maybe be easier because they have seen each other this whole time. I often find the big birds sitting by the brooder lamp remembering their "chick days"???
