A fascia board might help 'finish' that side of the coop off. Leave the eaves open for that precious ventilation. There is lots of room above the windows for some attractive calligraphy. Perhaps "Love Thy Neighbor"?

I personally think its beautiful. I love the color, you dont really see many coops that shade and i think it makes it that much more chic. Once the fence is finished it will even pop more. I wouldn't plant anymore buffers. Why do something for someone who in the first place is trashing something you love and secondly is moving. You never know, the new neighbors might love the coop and hate that its being blocked by trees. I know i would hate it.
