well my broilers that were hatched feb 28 ar currently weighin in at 2 1/2-3 lbs each they can fly 7 foot up very strong birds and run around and forage better than any bird i seen i currently have 9 had to cull one i feed 5 cups of layer feed each mournin and no more than that. i dont no how to post pics or i would of them?

That's awesome.... I'm glad that it's working out. They look very healthy and they should do just fine. I definitely let mine get too big.... yours are a bit over 8 weeks and typically broilers at this age weigh about 6 1/2 - 7 lbs live weight.


Can't wait to see them in another 8 weeks. So do you like the breed after slowing their growth down? They look like a hefty white rock pullet to me..... very impressed.
 
i actuly like them better than any breed i have owned very nice breed follow me around the yard freindly as can be and very very good foragers they hunt for worms constalty. Their roughly half the weight they should be at their age so they should be perfect for breeding as non of them have big butts as the full feed ones do i myself cant wate untile july wen they starting laying and the roosters start breeding i really wanna hear how loud these big boys can crow
