My cousin is afraid to eat fresh eggs

My DH said he didn't like our fresh eggs, either. He would only eat the store bought ones. That was about 6 months ago. (I refuse to buy store bought eggs, now)

So, I have made a couple of big breakfasts since then, and made lots of scrambed eggs, just in case he would change his mind.

I never said a word, but I did notice that he had eggs on his plate, and he ate them all.

So, maybe there is hope?

My BFF's DH wouldn't eat fresh eggs from my hens, he thought they were gross. My chickens all lay brown eggs. Well she and her kids loved them and it was a pain to keep buying just enough eggs for him and cooking them seperately so she started getting duck eggs from me. All the DH saw was white shells which meant store bought to him and he ate them happily. He's been eating duck eggs for almost 6 months now.

I get mixed reactions...

i get sme that will hear in passing (like in the lunch room at work) that i have chickens and its like they hit a brick wall....they interupt the conversation and ask about eggs..how many i have how much i sell them for bring 'em in they say...

then i have others that say ewww they poo in the nest...they walk in poo and then step in the nest...its like eating chicken poo... some people really need an education!

People who won't eat brown eggs, only white, I call "egg bigots!" Seriously....brown eggs are rather presidential, don't you think?

OK, before anyone gets offended, I am a white egg and my DH is a brown egg
