Scott's back in the hospital with a fever. Pray he gets to come home for Thanksgiving and his transplant keeps responding well and this dratted fever goes away so he can be on the mend and at home. Thanks.

I just found this thread & will be praying for your cousins recovery. My DH had a liver transplant back in 2002. Just be aware that these fevers are pretty common the first year or two. They didn't tell us at the time and we were surprised. It seemed we were forever running back down to the hospital, 2hr dirve, every few weeks or so because of a bad fever DH would get. Always, it seemed, in the middle of the night and half the time during a holiday or weekend. Prayers for his wife to stay strong amidst being not only his wife but an intregral part of his recovery.

Prayers for you Gretch, and your cousin Scott, that the Lord hold him and your family and his doctors in the palm of His hand thru this latest ordeal.

In Jesus name we pray this, that His will be done.

PS My sister, Rita, who is now recovering from lung cancer surgery, has also suffered with Crohn's since she was in her early teens (she's 53 now), and has most of her small intestine removed....so we can SO relate to the agony of this disease.
