**please read to the end**
I'm posting this post for a couple of reasons. First so you'all Can see how big Chicken Tender Nike has gotten. Her aviation vet gave her the clear bill of health. She has no permanent scarring from her impalement. The only lasting effect of her injury, her crop is a little misplaced. But it will cause her no problems. So we are so happy our lil lady has healed completely.
Next I posted two pics of her back. 1 to show her beautiful colors she gets from her Ayam Cemani genes. The other to show the two small spots of her White Mommy's color amongst all her black feathers.
Lastly, we are back to our original Chicken Soap Opera we started with with Chicken Tender. The "who's her parents" one. I know her daddy is Trouble Maker Pain In My Butt. I THOUGHT mommy was Icicle Frost. However, I think I maybe wrong. The way A chickens comb will be, is based on genetics. Like with my chicken pot pie, his daddy had a very large single flop comb. Now chicken pot pie his comb does flop, but because of his mothers genetics its not as large as daddys. However, if you line my boy birds up, you can tell who his daddy is solely By their combs. So, having said all that.... If you look at my light Sussex Icicles comb. Her comb is A half comb flop. Whereas Ursula Seashells comb is. Complete flop. And looking at Chicken Tender her comb is a complete, all though much smaller, full comb Flop. And I know Chicken Alfredo is Ursula's baby , she/he has an all white face, and slate gray legs as does Chicken Tender Nike. Where Lil chicken wing has an all black face and dark black legs. So in this rambling of A post, do you think Chicken Tender Nike is Icicles or Ursula's baby based on how her face and comb look?
