My creepy Schwans man....am I just overreacting?

I think canceling is a good first step, no matter what else you decide to do or not do.

I would have a hard time telling my husband if he was in another country, helpless to do anything except worry day and night. It's a really good idea to tell someone where you are, though. Do you have good friends or family there, that you can tell about this? Talking to your neighbors is also a good idea.

Given a choice between reporting him to his company and talking to law enforcement, I'd talk to law enforcement, first. If there's something "off" about him, reporting him could make you more of a target. Canceling as a customer, he could just go on his merry way and you could be out of sight, out of mind.

Law enforcement could check to see if he has any type of record. They'd have a better idea if you should be concerned or not. Anyway, that's my take on it. I hope he just goes away and you never have any problems with him.

I couldn't help but think, but if he said another customer pulled a gun on him, its probably because he was acting rude and creepy towards them too. Hopefully they've fired him by now. It sounds like your fully prepared for any trouble he might give you, so thats good..

hey ya'll, she's online now, and even though she posted asking for some opinions, she seems to have it all together!!! sheesh!!!

Wow, you know, I had a schwans guy I liked...he was cool..no problem if there wasn't an order...not an exceptionally good looking guy but definitely didn't give me the creeps. Well...one week a NEW schwan's guy came and his first words out of his mouth were..."Hey, I"m the new and improved Jeff!" (other guy's name was Jeff) Right off the bat I wasn't impressed..yeah he was thinner, not bad looking but you know, the personality totally set me off!!) I said "Well...my husband is on strike, my daughter is getting ready to graduate so I won't be making an order...in fact I will probably not order again until September" He peeks in the door and sees my granddaughter and says "well, don't you wanna order some popsicles for her?" I'm like, I"m sorry, not making an order right now... He pushes buttons on his machine thingy and says "well you always order this and this..." I shook my head and started shutting the door and said "sorry, no order" CREEPED ME OUT! I called corporate and told them I was cancelling and they were great said, we won't come till you call us, yada yada...two weeks later, he showed up. I didn't answer my door. He sat in my driveway for 20 minutes! I too am rural somewhat. I called them up and they said, I'm really sorry, don't know why he is there but we will let him know. I saw him one more time, had my husband go out there and he hasn't been back. I haven't ordered since and won't be..which is a shame because some of their things I really liked!
Anyhoo, I thought I would add my two cents since creepy schwan guys happen over here too!
