My dearest Daphne some advice please

Thanks guys for all your support you really have made it easier to deal with Daphne passing. Today I am out to get Aggy some new friends. We have an amazing guy just out of town who saves the battery hens and gives them second chances. All my girls have come from him it's so wonderful watching them develop from naked sad hens to beautiful happy girls which is also why it's so devastating to lose them. My wee dog Miley shows them how to scratch on the ground when they arrive home as most have never felt soil before and not sure what to do. She will sleep as close as she can to them for the first few days it's amazing the connections they make

This is a wee girl.I hand reared from.an egg actually I had to help her out of the egg after mum left her she is not dead she is asleep on me. Her name is crack named that because I had to crack her egg open

Hey Lisa

I am so pleased that Aggy is going to make some new friends, that should definitely help her with the grief. Miley sounds like a great chicken parent and hopefully is giving Aggy some comfort.

I am so happy we made you feel a little better. I can't wait to hear about the new chickens you will have brought home with you soon. Miley sounds like a very loving and caring pet. Aggy will soon have a few friends and that will make her a little happier to. Its great you have a place that you can go and get a few hens that need a forever loving home. One that will care about them and love them as well as spoil them to. I can't wait to hear all about them.
