My jaw is so dropped..that is gorgeous..awesome, superb...wowzer, iam just like can u teacH me...I mean, hour like a fabulous carpentery work.

I need to build some kind of shelter for my peafowl..and take them to far back of my property..my peahens poo is like tar with an oder no one wants to smell..iam learning though..when they are stressed they release that awful smell..nothing like chicken poo..

So iam thinking of building a huge run...and cutting down the tree to 12 foot and enclosing it in the run...and they can enjoy it..

Come help me...hehehhehe

Iam like so proud of u.. And u have done an amazing job..u should be so proud

How many peafowls are you planning on getting ? I'm not familiar with peafowls, I only have ducks and chicks. Who knows, maybe I'll get peafowls too

If you have the land, why not ?

I wish I lived close to you, I would love to help you. How is your pink chick doing

Tomorrow they say it will rain all day and down to 50's but today was gorgeous, some where in 70's. Let's see, if it doesn't rain that hard, I will get out there again and try to finish it up. I really need to finish everything this week. I still have another run 8x8 portable, I have to hardware cloth that, make a roof then onto the BIGGER run 32x28. 32x16 roof is done (every 4ft is 16 ft 2x4's) I have to finish putting the 2x4's and welded wire them and them I'm done, hopefully

Good luck to you wannabchick, I wish you the best

I can't wait to see your peafowl shelter. It took us a few weeks to build ours but we finished it a couple months ago. We used free pallets. The entire peafowl aviary only costs us $38.00. I believe in recycling and finding freebies. There are a few shelters/runs/aviaries that some BYC'ers built for their peas on the peafowl thread. Here is a link to my peafowl aviary pics.
