My destiny has changed ! They moved in, pic's on on 36

My sister in-laws brother was suppose to come today and help me with the roof, a no show once again. Last week he said he'll come by to help me and he never did. I starting to get annoyed ! I mean he doesn't have to help me but why say you will and give a day that your coming and not even bother calling to say you won't be coming ? I only have 2 more days left, today and tomorrow to finish up everything. Yesterday, I took my son to his yearly check-up and then took my mom shopping and finally went out back and began working until 7pm. I came inside, no food ready, kids hungry, older son didn't do his homework and I can't stand up straight because of my back and mom is just sitting there watching t.v

. One part I'm cooking, putting away the dishes from the washing machine, another hand helping son out with his homework, feeding my other little guy, setting the table, getting older son's lunch for tomorrow and mom is still there watching t.v

. Then she comes, tells me I'm putting the dishes into the washing machine wrong, why am I talking to my older son that way, why did you put that butter in the rice

. Hubby came home shortly and asked if I made him a soup ? I'm like can someone anyone give me a break ???

. Then I had to sit and listen to my mom telling me what kind of a parent am I, my older son (8yrs old) is the way he is because of me. ( He likes to fool around with his dad when its time to go to bed so I tell him to knock it off and get ready for bed) SO my mom says I don't know how to be a parent so I shouldn't get mad at him (my son). I said, I remember the days you use to bit me up for no reason, what kind of a parent was that then ? She says, she doesn't remember !!! How convienent ! I am so ready for her to leave and for us to get back to our normal lives again. She'll be gone for 3 weeks, 3 weeks is better then none ~ I wish she gets her citizenship and not come by here for years to come

I have to admit I just stumbled on this thread so I haven't read it all, but I have never seen that big a coop on wheels. Are they rated for that weight? Does it roll? We built a much smaller coop on wheels and it just barely moves.

I hope it's my last project, well at least this year

I've seen this couple of months ago and done my research all over. http://www.horizonstructures.com/8x8_coop.asp. I put lighter materials on it, and with the help of a lawn tractor, it does move. It will only be moved twice a year. 1 would be when spring arrives and the other time will be before winter. I also made the nest boxes removable because it weighs a ton

We'll see how that works out. If everything goes in the different direction then expected, then I'll just put it in one spot and won't move it, so we'll see how it goes once everything is completed.

I stepped outside, it started to pour rain

. Now the weather channel says there will be rain on thursday too so I only got tomorrow to finish up everything
th.gif
. Well what can I do
idunno.gif
. If I finish up the coop and the small run, at least the chickens and ducks can move in and I'll do the big run when hubby is home and if it doesn't rain. Now I have to try to get this small wood piece out under my skin (thump). It's been there since Sunday.

on the coop, and a suggestion for when they all expect the house fairy to do everything... a written list of what you want them to do seems to work a lot more than telling them,,,I tell mine if they dont do their list, Ill add more to it. Ive never had to, because I think seeing it helps them focus. Theres nothing you can do about an adult who wont help, but your kids sure can. Have a glass of wine and relax, youre a superwoman!

I am so sorry for so many people being so irresponsible and not getting back to you as promised. If you do get these guys to help for 200 per day make sure that you get it in writing, how long its going to tale and a total cost of thier labor. Make sure everyone is understanding all the expectations before you sign in writing but if everyone in agreement go for it. I wish i lived closer, i would volunteer my help, its just nice to be a good neighbor. It sounds like you already have it mostly built, otherwise i would have offered to help with the plans faxing back and forth. Best of luck, if you need any advice message me or email, i was a general contractor. [email protected] take care TOM

I wish many things in life, one of them would be for my husband to be more of a handy man, I also wish mom wasn't this way but some things in life I can't change for my benefit so I learn to deal with them. Being away from the city an into this nice suburbon is what need, what I love. I'd been a city girl all my life and now I deperately need peace and quiet. Being around animals sure gives me that, peace. Hopefully, when I'm done with these projects, we can sit back and enjoy
