My Diet & Exercise Thread

Good morning, you are all giving me lots of help already! I'm going to try the flax bread.
Yesterday DH and I drove up to the mtns and hiked. I slowly carefully walked, rested quite alot, eased my way along, rested..rested. DH was terrific for not nagging or giving in; he struck the perfect balance without ticking me off

After two hors of gimping along, mincing down the steep trails, afraid I'd slip or trip or just seize up my back...all of a sudden, I'm booking along! Tired but moving along smoothly, back to my old easy hiking gait. It was wonderful.
Today I'm sore - but the achy muscle sore, not the nasty fibro/arthritic/pinched nerve sore. Force me to hike again please!
 
I'm all in! Gained 30 lbs in the past 4 years... not pleased with myself for that. But, I used to be bulemic so it was pretty easy to ge thin... its hard doing this the healthy way! According to those BMI calculators I should weigh 135-140 for my height. @ lbs a week is a realistic goal when starting out Boyd, especially if you're like me and get discouraged easily.
