My Doe Is Kidding RIGHT NOW......No progress for about 1.5 hours**PICS

Just for anyone's reference who reads this - once you have a bubble...you have 30 mins. If it starts taking longer, there's an issue and you need to lube up and check the kid's position.

Also when a doe is obviously pushing, but perhaps her contractions are not regular...that usually means there's a positional issue, as well.

OP feel free to PM me I'll give you my cell #

Don't panick!!! this is serious but remain calm, don't freak your doe out or yourself- you need to think logically... get a bucket of warm dish-soapy water or use veggie oil or KY jelly TAKE OFF YOUR RINGS AND JEWLERY/BANDAIDS ETC!!! go in, close your eyes and feel around, NEVER take your hand off the baby because you can get them mixed up if there are twins. It should be presenting with nose on two feet, so feel for a nose, if it's not right there it might be down between fornt hooves or up behind back etc. Feel for two feet, remember not to take your hand off the kid. Once you have it in the right position hold just behind the babies hooves with one hand, a finger between the feet and pull with her contractions. If she isn't haveing any you might have to just pull but do it slow and steady. NEVERgive up preassure, don't let the kid go back in at all, don't loose any ground, keep steady preassure and pull with her efforts. Goodluck, you'll do fine!

I hope she gets them out in time. I saw this first hand 2 nights ago. I went to buy some chickens from a woman locally here. The goat was in labor but distressed. We worked fast. Yes, WE. I could not believe that I was delivering goats. She did an amazing job. The first was breech a boy, the second just pretty much shot out a girl, but the third was also breech and bad. She had a hard time turning and pulling it, but she did it and it was a boy. It was a rush. I went for some chickens and got to deliver some babies. It was cool and it turned out well. I know the mama goat and the babies would have died if she did not intervene.

I sure hope everything is okay.........................................

Thanks yet again to Helmstead and the others for helping. I knew you would know the answer! Praying for healthy kids to come out and momma to be ok and OP to be stable enough to do this!

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED ME!!!!!

Momma and baby are FINE!!!! WOOT!! The baby was positioned correctly but his head was large so I think that may have been the problem!! Anyway, as soon as I read helmsteads "get that baby out now" I ran downstairs grabbed some gloves squirrted them with disenfectant and grabbed his hoofs, as soon as she had another contraction I pulled and pulled, with her pushing and me pulling we got him out.
