How about a warm epsom salts bath? Do any of you think that would be a good idea? She could be constipated, and even if not, it would be relaxing, right? Couldn't hurt? Can you get her into a tub of nice warm water and have her lie down in it for a bit? Maybe cool water would be better since she's hot. What do y'all think?

Yeah. She hasn’t been eating in the morning but will eat at night. I haven’t really seen her drink water but I haven’t been watching and she’s been eating some ice .

I’m thinking if she’s hot would she like a warm bath? She would probably be very relaxed in it tho! I might just try that, though I don’t think she’s constipated lol could I do a cold one? Well I geuss she wouldn’t wanna go in a cold one lol she has had baths (showers) before and hated then when she was a pup. She doesn’t like to go on slippery surfaces like by bed room and our hard wood floors.

Don’t most dogs hate baths? I wouldn’t want to stress her. I’ve never had a dog that thought it was relaxing; far from it.

She is 3. I don’t have an emergency vet, and are vet in our town is the best lots of ppl from hours away just come to see him. He’s my best option. But not open over Christmas and no emergency number. I’m trying to get her in right after Christmas. Thank you. Merry CHRISTmas!

Good morning @happy eggs yard , how's Emmy Lou doing today? Hope she had a good night. Has she been passing any stool, and if so, how does that look? Does it look normal, is it a normal amount? I think you're new around here, but when someone has a sick chicken one of the first things we ask is, what does the poo look like? We even ask for pictures! We can tell a lot by the poo! So - is she passing any? When is the last time she had a good bowel movement? If you gently lay your head on her side, do you hear rumbling? Rumbling is usually a good thing, it can mean things are moving normally.
