My drakes foot is ALWAYS bleeding??!

Pics
@casportpony what could/should be used to wash the blood away as he tries to remove the plugs, if it bleeds more? Saline wash? Plain water? Warm/cool?
I would use room temp saline or distilled water. if it bleeds more, use square cotton gauze pads and apply pressure. If blood soaks pad, add another pad, do not remove blood soaked pads.

It's just so severe I want it to heal and go. And one foots already been cut into one not. I'll post up a pic of both feet including what Ronnie (my bf) did to the one foot and you guys can tell me what you think and what to do to the one that hasn't been touched and what about the one that has been cut.

I've been reading this thread since the beginning- for information should this ever happen to one of my fowl.

If I were the duck- or if I were a human with a similar ailment- I would want it over and done with. Like a band aid. Prolonging the removal is basically prolonging the infection and pain that goes with it. Yes it will hurt, but the relief when it is done will be immense for you, your boyfriend and mr. aflac.

Just my opinion!! You can do it :) I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines.

Please do not cut into the second foot tomorrow. If you do anything, just soak both of them and post pictures of today's foot when it's all cleaned up.

In this case I fear there has been a miscommunication and I have a feeling that the boyfriend didn't know what he was supposed to do.
