My drakes foot is ALWAYS bleeding??!

Pics
ah ok. I think it will be more evident after the scab comes off, how well the tissue under it is healing. But the tissue out around the scab looks much healthier than the pics from a week ago.
agree

and his toes and webs look so nice and clean! and healthy :D
they look great!!

I have an unusual issue with one of my ducks right now too.
oh no!!! i have ducks that are hiding from me that need catching

and won't soaking soften up the scabs so they can begin to come off on their own? They will come off on their own right? And the ointment helps them heal and then bandages protects the feet from nastiness?
yes it will but they also stand on the scabs so they might not come off quite as quickly

I'll probably leave the iffy foot till Ronnie is back and can help but that won't be until animal handling class Monday afternoon :thawhile away. So would you say just Continue soaks applying triple antibiotic ointment and fresh bandages each day and take pics to monitor progress on both bubbles and Aflac and Ronnie can look at the one foot on her Monday?
good idea, more hands is better

Ya know what i think would be nice, if there is any possibility of it.... is there anywhere that you could let them run around for a little while that isn't dirt? Like inside somewhere? Carpet, concrete, linoleum, even maybe nice grass? Just not mud or dirt. To give a little chance to get some air to the scabs, but not ruin the treatments. Then clean them up again and re-bandage

And maybe its a horrible idea.
good idea

They live at my school ag farm so I don't have a place for them to do that :(
no worries not a big deal!!

my thought is that when Ronnie gets back Monday and you soak Monday night, after the soak massage the scab and see if it comes off easily. If it does you can check the tissue underneath and see if the bumble is reforming or if nice healthy tissue is under it

But it can wait until Ronnie gets back! I do think we need to get the scab off, but it can wait a few more days and other wise keep it wrapped up and clean!

Good Job!!!

So but for today and tomorrow's treatment should I just continue and soak him AND bubbles feet both? And then apply triple antibiotic ointment and clean bandages? Or should I attempt to massage at least Aflacs feet? I'm thinking his may be healthy. It's ONE of bubbles feet I'm concerned about.

Cause Aflacs scabs seem good and one of bubbles feet looks like Aflacs it looks like a black blood dried scab too. (the pic circled in black is the one I think is like Aflac's)
BUT the pic I circled in red seems like there's still stuff?

Bubbles looks a bit swollen I'd soak and apply iodine if you have it or soak and try and gently pull off the scab then apply the triple and wrap. Is that a scab on Bubbles foot?

Aflac may need some more soaking to get that scab off so you can see what's under but his doesn't look swollen.

The pic I circled in black I'm thinking is the same as Aflac. A healthy black scab. It's the foot in red I'm wondering what to do with. The foot in black I'm going to treat the same as Aflacs two feet. It's the one in red in thinking still has bumble. Today I'm soaking them both for fifteen min again and then applying triple and wrapping back up. But what should I do before applying the triple and wrap back up? I don't want to mess anything good up.

Is it swollen to you it looks like it is to me which usually means there is something in there. So after you soak if there is a small scab try and work it off and see if you can get the bumble out. Then soak for another 5 mins and dry and apply triple and then wrap.

Or if you would rather wait till your boy friend gets back so he can hold then I don't think it would hurt to wait a few days as long as there isn't any heat or swelling moving up the leg.
