Ronnie and I actually saved it! It was out near my place alone, with no family and it was like only a day old and so tiny and week so we took it in, its our rescue gooseAww did you hatch this gosling? so precious![]()
I know we felt sooo good about it. My mom as soon as I told her said yes you can keep it because she didn’t want us to leave it out there alone to die I cried when I saw it out there it was so cold and weak.Wow how amazing is that? so glad you and Ronnie were able to save the lil thing. I hope it's a girl too.
Trust me, I know ganders can be quite rough on the ladies. I’m probably gonna just keep one of my ganders or keep my female in her own thing as she has been cause she’s grown into peopleJust a heads up, if it is a girl and you have multiple males and no other females, they are quite capable and somewhat likely to kill her while trying to breed at the same time... so you will need to get more females, get rid of all but 1 male, or keep them separated.
Good, I have just seen several threads on here where a duck or goose was drowned while breeding and the people were heartbroken.Trust me, I know ganders can be quite rough on the ladies. I’m probably gonna just keep one of my ganders or keep my female in her own thing as she has been cause she’s grown into peoplethere’s a chance tho it could be another boy but I hope not.
