My drop off rooster, what breed is he?

Someone who just had one chicken left wondered if I would take him, I agreed, and I found him in my coop soon after. He is not half bad, and looks like something purebred, (yes, because that isn't vague at all! Lol) so I was curious if anyone had an idea. He is a lot nicer than my Red Star roosters, that is for sure. A little bit smaller, too.





Any ideas? He is a good looking rooster.

Does he have a rose comb? Looks like it, but I can't tell for sure. If he does, gold laced wyandotte

I believe he has a rose comb, though I'd have to check him to be sure. I would never have guessed a Wyandotte, but that is why I asked! Thank you very much for your reply.

Yeah, looks like a f old laced Wyandotte.

He's either mixed or very poor hatchery quality, but there's a lot of glw there.
