Hello,

My family recently went on vacation for two days and when we returned our full grown female runner duck, Ping, was eating some garbage, just some string but it still worried me. (All of these photos are a few weeks old)

I pulled it out of her mouth but didn't think much of it until she started making some funny noises! They were higher and kind of squeaky, along as a lot quieter than her usual quacking. I am not sure what to do, should I wait till she digests it or take her to a vet? Or should I start feeding her a lot of proteins?
She also developed angel wing a few weeks ago and I was wondering if it's okay to use duct tape on her wing?

Thank you very much!

I would definitely not use duct tape on her wing, you'd never get it off again! Try paper first aid tape, or vetrap. If she has angel wing, you want to cut down on the protein. As Amiga says, a vet would be best, and they could help you wrap her wing, too.

Also, welcome to BYC!
