My duck/chicken life

Just finished examining chick vents. Thankfully no pasty butt.

Thats good. We've been letting the. Chickens out into our yard where the ducks are allowed, instead of the unfenced part. The first night they put them selves away before dark. Second night we came home late and found three of them roosting ontol of the run on the chicken wire covering it. Spent half an hour trying to get them down. And last night they put themselves away just fine.

The ducks werent sure of what to make of the chickens at first. Since so far theyve only seen one another from behind a fence.

They were iffy at first. Im surprised the pile wasnt gone by night though.

Mine were terrified the first time I gave them some, now it only takes about ten minutes for them to finish the pile.

Im not surprised that they finished it off that quickly. Mine are already used to getting cooked food.
