Fine today. Though something funny happened with one of our turkeys today.

I went to let them out into our yard, and one of the turkey couldnt figure out that he had to bend over to get theough the gate, so he was stuck mentally at the gate. And the other animals were going under him one by one to get out. It was funny watching him watch the others go one by one under him. His head bobbing as each one went under and through the gate.

How are you and your birds today?

Think the chickens have stopped laying for winter. Havent been able to find eggs and they were prolific layers until winter came. At this point the ducks are producing more then they are.

Good morning Mine did the first winter, but now take a break every year. Even the new layers I add seem to follow suit.

Mom thinks it's not enough food or their hising the eggs. I simply think theyve stopped for the winter.

One of my turkeys attacked a chicken during feeding time today.

Is the chicken ok? Mine will sometimes give a firm peck, but that's about all
