Having a turkey house built specifically for the turkeys so they can perch out of the rai easier and not use the duck house as a perch.

They can be. We call them big feathered dogs.

Me to, and im finding it to. I was out on the steps one day, and all of them came right up to me. They even tried to bite the knife I was carving with, twice.

Unfortunately one of them seems to have issues at the moment. Their on typical turkey food now since their mostly grown. But yesterday I noticed one with a bad limp. Checked him out and it seemed he meetsight have bumble and some sort of injury.

Will a turkey survive the stress of that? Took us a while just to complete the first bumble surgery we did. But that was a little chicken. Not a half grown turkey. I still believe he has some other injury as well. Our tom last year had bumble as well and it didnt make him limp even close to that much. And his was bigger.

Hope your turkey will be okay. Do you think he may have had a hard landing from somewhere?
