My duck/chicken life

Pics
Here are the new ones at a day old. The guy buying them had a family emergency and had to leave town, so I'm keeping them for him until the first week of October.

Their absolutely adorable XD do you know their breed? They look like australorp chicks but im sure their are other black breeds out there to.

I try to keep the layer flock entirely rare breeds. I currently have breeding stock of the Hollands and Rose Comb Rhode Island Whites. There's a discrepancy between what I'm told is in the sop (too cheap to buy it) and what the conservancy says about the hollands. I'm told they are supposed to have white legs, while the conservancy says yellow. Mine have the white legs and the stock came from one of the top breeders for the breed.

Dont know about genetics so I couldnt tell you wich to believe.

Lunch tim, the boys were eatingunch outside. They threw the chickens one piece of sandwich (against our wishes) and ended up urrounded by scavenging chickens wanting more. It was funny watching them surrounded by chickens at the picnic table.

Another member of my wonderful birdy family. My conjure pepper.
