My duck/chicken life

Good morning :frow How old was he? Sometimes they just drop for no apparent reason.
a few months at most. He had bruising and pooling under the skin but no obvious physical injuries from the ooutside. And hahad blood come out his but before we did him up. There were no signs of animals getting, in and just him dead. Today, iand think I may have found the winner because he has a semi fresh gash on his flank that I had to clean out. A sign that we need to start cutting down our meat roos,. We think they may have been crowded out. There are six cornish cross roos, andand seven ee roos among the meatbirds from our crop of chicks this year.

Good morning :frow it sounds like you have the right plan. I've never had success mixing other breeds with the CX. so when I do it, I keep a bachelor pad for my non-cx and then a shelter for the CX. I move the shelters daily to fresh grass.

Ours is stationary. And it was two cornish roos that faught. Our ee roos don't have an issue.

How long has this been going on? She's just now reaching sexual maturity isn't she? She's not new to this pen is she? Sorry my earlier answer was so flippant.
Been witha them for a few months now. Is already accepted by our drake donald?, as well as all the other females. Oreo chased her off at first, thenof ignored her for a while, now chases her for mating. Not sure how sexually mature she is. Haven't seen anyyou eggs yet,.
