Good what ever was afflicting our chickens this year seems to finally be passing. Haven't had any unexpected deaths in the last month and only one currently sick chicken. It took a lot of our younger and newer chickens this summer.

Meet our newest brood. The silky hen, charcoal, is raisin her second brood. First one was a brood of five. This one is a brood of ten. The second brood is mothered by our three year old first time mom, baby. She has a brood of five.
