My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

I usually can't wait that long...lol. How long has it been it there?

He has been sitting like this for 10 hours or so

I am not eager to help, just will if it means giving a baby a chance it otherwise might not have! My first hatch so I'm just on the edge of my seat Saturday, the kids are home so there will be extra eyes peeking in on them all day and any sign of trouble would be noticed and reported! They might come up with questions I haven't thought of yet so be warned;-)

Helping too early often ends in disaster.

Hard to say... Pip and his other hatched sibling barreled these guys around so much when I was at work yesterday that I'm not sure.
