My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Hi, would anyone mind if I hijacked this thread?

My duckling have externally pipped 4 days early, and I'm slightly panicking! 1 has hit a vein, and another has pipped the wrong end and the membrane is yellow. They weren't even due to go into lockdown until tomorrow! This is my first duckling hatch and I must admit to being very nervous now! Any advice is much needed and very welcome!

has it been at least 24 hours from the external peeping? if not give him at least that, then we can assist..

The bleeding looks like it almost stopped. Poor baby is shivering in my hands.

I didn't see any pips when I turned them this afternoon (I'm in the U.K., and it's 11.55pm here now), but there again, I wasn't looking with due date being 4 days away.
