Hi!!!! Yes, he's still with us! His yolk still doesn't look to have gone down at all

Still moving and chirping. Will try and get a new pic, but it's hard because I'm on my own tonight. The bottom half of his shell is still on, in fact it's pretty much welded on by the membrane

Should I try to remove it? I left it there because it looks like it's protecting the yolk sac.

NO, don't remove anything, Make sure the membrane is completely covering him up. Do you have him in a cup? He needs pressure in that area and the only way your going to do that his by having him in this Position:

get a qtip, warm water, rinse it out, GENTLY, AS GENTLY AS YOU CAN, start from the skin of the belly button, and work downwards into the shell, You don't have to go IN the shell, your basically rubbing, his cord, I see some gooy stuff on it, and also you have to do is rub that gooy stuff off. DON"T BREAK THE CORD. Very Important you DON"T BREAK IT..
