My duck eggs hatching early!?!? Did I do something wrong?

Yup. I swear he even tried to nip me! He looks more comfortable now.

I just don't think there's yolk, sometimes there belly button swells up and it looks exactly like a yolk sac, with him being that active, i just don't see it being yolk. but I could be mistaken.


Usually when they still have yolk, they are completely lethargic, they don't do anything but sleep, and he sounds to active, even if it's just a little bit of movement...

It's nice because you have him so that if there is yolk he's in the perfect spot for it to go right up there. I would check on him in about 4 hours to see if it's shrunk down any..

I just played a video of ducklings chirping on my phone and held it to the top of the bator (I have 2 more pips and I heard it helps encourage them out of the shell). He opened his eyes!!!!! He joined in cheeping too!!!! He hasn't opened his eyes before!!!!!
I swore I wasn't going to fall in love, just in case the worst happens, but my heart just melted!
