Hi, I’ve been noticing my 4 month old Pekin hen hasn’t been moving as much and has stayed on top of her hill even when her flock is leaving and today I was trying to bring them into their coop and she was limping... then she fell and got up, then fell again and didn’t get up. Her leg was just sticking out the back and she just laid there. Even when I went to pick her up (she does not like when I pick her up like most ducks) she didn’t move! So I carried her to her coop and tried looking at her leg and I couldn’t see anything wrong with her leg. She wanted to get out of my arms as soon as possible tho. I set her down and she waddled away. (I do not have a vet around where I live) I could give her vitamin mix/niacin but I don’t know how much it’ll help, also she is very attached to her family of ducks she will not want to be separated. I was thinking maybe my dog chase her and she fell or my dog did something because someone told me my dog wasn’t being nice to the ducks (even though she has never had an issue with them and I’ve never seen her be mean to them, so I didn’t really believe the person because they can exaggerate what they saw sometimes) but I’m not sure. How should I go about this?

Well, she can walk she’s just a little slow but she doesn’t seem to be in pain. I’ve kept them in their coop today so she doesn’t have much space to walk anyways. It’s a vitamin booster for chickens and fowl and I usually use it to give to the ducklings while they are growing.

I would suggest you get the super b complex. It has a good dose of niacin, where as the booster has little if any. 1mL over a treat will do the trick. You would need to treat for awhile to get the maximum benefits - at least for a week or two after seeing improvement.
