I had this happen once to one of my girls
My daughter was watching them while we were on holidays
We don’t know why other then she must not have been able to get out and being in to long they can get water logged.
You guys did the right thing getting her dry and warm

Glad your duck is ok. You might need to keep her separate from the males, 2 can drown a female trying to mate her in the water.
