My Duck has injured leg. Please help!

By the looks of the ‘stripey’ brown feathers on the head, possibly mallard?

Its def a black swedish mix, could be mixed with mallard. He couldnt tell the gender really, but the hip snapped clean off. Has to have pin surgery. Ugh So if anyone thinks they might be ok, they might not be

It does look like a sore. Is a vet an option? If not I will suggest a few things for you to try.

Broken, snapped at the hip. Glad I took him. Thank you though. Hes such a champ he doesnt even seem like anything wrong.

Update: She made a full recovery. Not even limping. She started laying eggs. Every day for 2 weeks Haha. So female confirmed. Thank everyone.
